Scott Properties entered into a Promotion Agreement with the Landowners in 2018 and were able to promote the site through every stage of the emerging Local Plan and Neighbourhood Plan, achieving an allocation for mixed-use development. A detailed application was submitted for a residential, care, and community uses, alongside a separate detailed application for a new supermarket. Both applications were determined in 2022, with the residential and care sale completing in 2023 and the retail sale completing in 2024.
