Following an initial approach in 2015, Scott Properties entered into a Promotion Agreement with the Landowner in 2016. The site was promoted to the emerging Ashford Local Plan and was allocated for residential development. An outline planning application for up to 30 homes was submitted in 2018 and approved unanimously at Committee in 2019. The sales process was interrupted by the outbreak of COVID but concluded in 2020 with the site being sold to Croudace Homes.
